The heart of this collection lies in a deep admiration for Japan’s Edo-period woodblock prints (Ukiyo-e). The striking Mount Fuji jewellery pieces draw direct inspiration from Katsushika Hokusai’s iconic The Great Wave off Kanagawa, capturing the dramatic dialogue between swelling ocean waters and the timeless, stationary peak.

The vibrant, enamelled mountain necklaces are a tribute to the legendary woodblock landscapes of masters like Hokusai and Utagawa Hiroshige. By blending hand-rendered metalwork with meticulously layered vitreous enamel, I recreate the shifting atmospheres, misty horizons, and bold colour gradients of classic Japanese art.
