Blue enamel Mark 4 round drop earrings

The "Mark 4" introduces a calming, tonal palette to my Mark Making Series. Inspired by the weathered surfaces and rhythmic glazes of ancient ceramics in the British Museum, these earrings translate historical "marks" into a contemporary, wearable format that feels both fresh and timeless.

Set against a soft, light blue enamel background, a series of dark blue lines creates a subtle pattern. This monochromatic blue-on-blue design is punctuated by a single vibrant green dot, adding a pop of organic colour that pulls the whole composition together. The result is an analogous colour scheme that is incredibly easy to wear and effortlessly chic.

Like all pieces in the series, these earrings are handcrafted in the UK. I use traditional kiln-firing techniques to fuse glass enamel onto a copper base, resulting in a rich, glossy finish with incredible depth of colour. They are finished with sterling silver ear hooks, making them lightweight enough for all-day wear and safe for sensitive skin.
